The Club 3510 Library

The 3510 Collection

Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers.

Charles W. Eliot

Charles W. Eliot could not be more accurate about books. And what to expect to the folks who adores books? Club 3510 knows all about these folks and offers hundreds of physical and electronic books that caters to a specific crowd.

So you want to borrow or read a book?

Club 3510 Collection

Here comes the tricky part…

You are welcome to read but never to borrow. Why? Books borrowed from me were never [ever] returned.

So if you ever chance upon a book you want to read or research on, you are welcome to drop by (feel free to read it on a couch, or by the pool, or in the gym — just don’t bring it home).  And a few bucks will be appreciated for the upkeep, shelves construction, and expansion of the 3510 Collection.

Overflowing coffee (or tea) will be served. And here’s a drop of wisdom about lending books from a famous literary critic:

“There is a simple rule: practice a kind of generous selfishness. Give a book to a friend, but don’t lend it, because you will never get it back.”

James Wood

Isn’t James Wood draws an accurate picture to all bibliophiles? (and self-confessed why-it’s-so-hard-to-return-this-book types)
